Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governing the collection and use of information (hereinafter:  "Privacy Policy") has been adopted by Club Hotel Management (1996) Ltd., which operates Club Hotel Eilat, Club Inn Eilat, and Club Hotel Tiberias (collectively, hereby referred to as the "Club Hotels Chain").
This Privacy Policy describes the categories of Personal Information and Non-Personal Information (each as defined below) that the Club Hotels Chain collects from users of its services (as defined below), and explains how such information is collected, used, retained, processed, and shared with third parties.
This Privacy Policy is drafted in the masculine form for convenience only and applies equally to individuals of all genders.
How We Collect Information
The Club Hotels Chain collects Personal Information and Non-Personal Information through the following channels:
  1. Websitesoperated by Club Hotels: www.clubhotels.co.il,www.clubhotels-israel.comand www.russian.clubhotels-israel.com(hereinafter: "Website" or "Websites").
  2. Mobile and Desktop Applications(hereinafter: "Apps").
  3. Social Media Pagesowned and/or controlled by the Club Hotels Chain (hereinafter: "Social Media Pages").
  4. On-Property and Offline Interactions, including when you visit or stay at one of the hotels listed above, or through other offline interactions with Club Hotels (e.g., calls to our customer service center, completion of a guest registration card).
The Websites, Apps, and Social Media Pages are referred to collectively as the "Online Services," and together with offline channels, as the "Services."
By using the Services, guests are asked to agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Providing Personal Information is voluntary and generally based on your consent, except where collection is required by applicable law or is necessary to provide the requested Services. In the event that a user elects not to provide information, or in the event that the Club Hotels Chain is unable to collect information, the Club Hotels Chain may be unable to provide all or part of the Services. Users are encouraged to read this Privacy Policy carefully.
Categories of Information We Collect
1.          Personal Information
"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with a particular individual, including:
1.1       Contact Details — name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, passport number, government-issued identification number.
1.2       Payment Information — payment method, card type, and card details used to process a transaction (including card number, expiration date, and CVV), in accordance with PCI DSS standards, as well as billing address and bank account number.
  • Demographic Data— age, gender, residential address, nationality.
 
  •     Information Regarding Family Members and Companions— such as   
the names and ages of children or a spouse/domestic partner.
1.5       Information Regarding Personal Milestones and Occasions— such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries.
1.6       Reservation and Stay Information — including arrival and departure dates, goods and services purchased at the hotel, Personal Preferences (as defined below), and telephone calls made during your stay.
1.7       Information Required to Fulfill Special Requests and/or Accommodation Arrangements — preferences, leisure activities, companion name, number and ages of children.
1.8       Guest Preferences ("Personal Preferences") — including interests, activities, hobbies, food and beverage selections (including dietary restrictions and allergens), services, and requests you have communicated to the Club Hotels Chain, or preferences we have noted during your stay.
1.9       Footage — images, video, and audio collected via security cameras located in public areas of Club Hotels properties, such as corridors and lobbies (closed-circuit television systems), as well as electronic key card access data.
2.         Non-Personal Information
"Non-Personal Information" means data that does not identify a specific individual. The Club Hotels Chain collects Non-Personal Information such as browser and device data, data collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies, aggregate data relating to guest stays, and responses to promotional offers and surveys. Certain identifiers (such as IP addresses) may be treated as Personal Information where required by applicable law.
3.         Combined Information
In certain circumstances, the Club Hotels Chain may combine Personal Information with Non-Personal Information (e.g., combining a guest's name with location data). In such cases, the Club Hotels Chain will treat the combined data as Personal Information insofar as it remains combined.
4.         Third-Party Information
In the event you provide the Club Hotels Chain and/or its service providers with information that includes Personal Information regarding third parties (for example, if you make a reservation on behalf of another individual, reserve a room for additional guests, or invite companions to accompany you on Club Hotels premises), you represent and warrant that you have obtained the consent of such third party to disclose their information, that you are authorized to do so, and that the third party shall be deemed to have permitted the Club Hotels Chain to use such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Additional Collection Methods and Sources of Personal and Non-Personal Information
5.         Online Services
When you make a reservation, purchase goods or services, contact our representatives or us by any means, post on our Social Media Pages, subscribe to a mailing list, complete feedback forms, participate in surveys, contests, or promotional offers, or submit a job application with the Club Hotels Chain.
6.         On-Property Visits and Offline Interactions
When you visit or stay at a Club Hotels property or use Club Hotels services. Personal Information is also collected when you participate in marketing or promotional events hosted by or in conjunction with Club Hotels, or when you provide Personal Information in connection with such events. Personal Information may further be collected via CCTV systems installed for security purposes in public areas of Club Hotels properties, through electronic key card systems, and through additional security infrastructure.
7.         Third-Party Sources
We may receive Personal Information from third parties, including travel agents, customer loyalty program partners, credit card issuers, government authorities (as required to comply with applicable law), market research firms, and Club Hotels service providers.
8.         Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Services, the Club Hotels Chain automatically receives and stores information related to your activity on the Websites and Apps, as well as via your browser and mobile device. For example, we collect information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, mobile network data, pages viewed, and session duration. This information is used to communicate with guests and to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
9.         Customer Service Interactions
When you make a telephone reservation or contact Club Hotels via email, fax, live chat, or through contact forms on the Website and/or Apps. Such interactions may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.
How We Use Your Personal and Non-Personal Information
The Club Hotels Chain uses Personal Information and Non-Personal Information for one or more of the following purposes:
10.        Processing Reservations and Purchases
The Club Hotels Chain processes information relating to transactions you make with Club Hotels, including through the Website (hereinafter: “Transaction Data”). Transaction Data is processed to complete reservations, provide products and services, tailor services to your preferences, obtain feedback regarding your stay at Club Hotels, and maintain records of such transactions.
11.        Guest Communications
To offer services tailored to your preferences, we collect information before and during your stay. This information may also be used in connection with select guest events hosted by us, independently or with partners.
 
 
12.        Responding to Inquiries
We process information related to guest inquiries, including those involving group bookings, meetings, and events, for the purpose of responding to guests and maintaining records.
13.        Business Operations
We process information for internal business purposes, including developing new Services, improving existing services, identifying usage trends and visit patterns, evaluating the effectiveness of promotional activities, assessing third-party performance (e.g., travel agents), forecasting revenue and occupancy, and fulfilling contractual obligations.
14.        Administrative and Other Communications
Sending information regarding the Website, updates to our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy, and other administrative communications (for example, information regarding reservations, including reservation confirmation emails, and similar notices).
15.        Marketing and Promotions
Sending marketing and promotional communications about Club Hotels properties, products, and services we believe may be of interest to you, including spa and fitness services, dining, and more.
16.        Safety and Security
Protecting the health and safety of guests staying at Club Hotels, as well as that of other guests and staff at Club Hotels' properties.
17.        Legal Compliance
Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal process, and managing legal proceedings.
18.       The Club Hotels Chain may use Personal Information and Non-Personal Information, in whole or in part, to perform statistical analysis and research, some results of which may be displayed on the Apps, Website, or through other Services. Such outputs will not include personally identifiable information.
19.        Legal Bases for Processing
Processing of Personal Information is based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
19.1     Your consent.
19.2     Performance of a contract or provision of Services.
19.3     Compliance with applicable law, including statutes, regulations, orders, and court judgments.
19.4     Legitimate business interests of the Club Hotels Chain.
Disclosure and Sharing of Personal and Non-Personal Information
20.      The Club Hotels Chain may disclose and transfer Personal Information and Non-Personal Information as follows:
20.1     To any of the hotels listed in this Privacy Policy, in order to provide an enhanced hospitality experience based on your Personal Preferences and history with Club Hotels.
20.2    To a travel agent or representative who provided us with Personal Information about guests.
20.3    To Club Hotels service providers, including IT vendors, legal counsel, accountants, and payment processors.
20.4    To marketing and advertising partners, for the purpose of serving relevant advertisements and encouraging return visits. Such partners are prohibited from using Personal Information for any purpose other than direct marketing as described herein. Guests retain the right to opt out of certain marketing uses to the extent provided under applicable law.
20.5    To third parties in connection with a corporate reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale of assets or equity, joint venture, assignment of rights and/or obligations, or other disposition of Club Hotels' business or assets, in whole or in part (including insolvency or dissolution proceedings).
21.       The Club Hotels Chain may also disclose Personal Information and Non-Personal Information to the extent reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law; (b) comply with court orders or legal process; (c) respond to requests from public or governmental authorities; (d) enforce our Terms of Use; (e) protect the business interests of the Club Hotels Chain; (f) protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of Club Hotels, guests, users, and others; and (g) pursue available legal remedies or mitigate potential damages.
 
International Data Transfers
22.      Data processing generally takes place within the State of Israel. Processing performed by third-party vendors or cloud service providers may occur on servers located outside Israel, including Microsoft servers and Microsoft 365 infrastructure.
23.      Some information may be stored in the cloud outside the borders of the State of Israel or the European Union. Operators of such services have undertaken to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Club Hotels Chain implements reasonable and appropriate measures to ensure that Personal Information transferred internationally receives an adequate level of protection.
Privacy Rights for Residents of the European Union (GDPR)
24.      If you are a resident of the European Union, the following rights apply to you:
24.1      Right to Be Informed— we are committed to providing concise, transparent, and easily accessible information about how your Personal Information is processed.
24.2     Right of Access — you may request confirmation of whether your Personal Information is being processed and obtain a copy of such information, along with details about the conditions of processing.
24.3     Right to Rectification — you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information.
24.4     Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten) — you may request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to applicable law, in the event that:  
24.4.1The Personal Information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed.
24.4.2You withdraw consent on which processing was based, and there is no other legal ground for continued processing.
24.4.3You establish that the Personal Information has been unlawfully processed.
24.4.4Deletion is required to comply with a legal obligation applicable to Club Hotels.
 
25.       Right to Restriction of Processing
You may request that we restrict processing of your Personal Information in the following circumstances:
25.1     You contest the accuracy of the Personal Information.
25.2    You believe the processing is unlawful but oppose erasure and request restriction instead.
25.3    We no longer need the Personal Information, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
25.4    You have objected to processing based on our legitimate interests, pending verification of whether those interests override your own.
26.       Right to Data Portability
Where processing is based on your consent or a contract, you are entitled to receive your Personal Information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit that data to another data controller.
27.       Right to Withdraw Consent
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time using the means made available for such purpose (as further  described herein). Withdrawal of consent applies prospectively only and does not apply to Personal Information processed prior to such withdrawal. For the avoidance of doubt, withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
28.       Right to Direct Posthumous Data Handling
You may provide general or specific instructions regarding the handling of your Personal Information after your death, and the Club Hotels Chain will honor those instructions to the extent required or permitted by applicable law. In the absence of such instructions, we recognize that lawful heirs may exercise certain rights, including accessing Personal Information required for estate administration, objecting to the closure of the deceased's user accounts, and objecting to further processing of the deceased's data, where permitted by law.
29.       Right to Lodge a Complaint
In the event that you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority. A list of EU supervisory authorities is available on the European Commission's website.
30.      In the event that you are located outside the European Union, including in Israel, you have the right to access and correct information held in the Club Hotels Chain's databases in accordance with applicable Israeli law, including the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741–1981.
Data Security
31.       The Club Hotels Chain maintains reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, deletion, accidental loss, or misuse. We conduct periodic reviews of our security measures to ensure their continued adequacy.
32.      When Personal Information is disclosed or transferred to third parties, the Club Hotels Chain requires that such parties maintain an appropriate level of data protection consistent with applicable law. The Club Hotels Chain requires third parties to commit, by contract, to processing Personal Information solely for the agreed purposes and in accordance with required confidentiality and security standards.
33.      Should you have reason to believe that your interaction with Club Hotels is not secure (for example, if you suspect that your Club Hotels account has been compromised), please contact us immediately as described in the "Contact Us" section below.
Data Retention
34.      Subject to applicable law, the Club Hotels Chain retains Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfill the following purposes:
34.1     The purposes for which the Personal Information was originally collected.
34.2    Legitimate business interests of the Club Hotels Chain, including recordkeeping.
34.3    Preservation of information that may be relevant to regulatory investigations or litigation.
34.4    Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, court orders, and governmental disclosure requirements.
34.5    Protection of the legitimate interests of the Club Hotels Chain and third parties, including defense against legal claims.
Sensitive Personal Information
35.      Unless specifically requested, the Club Hotels Chain asks that you refrain from submitting or disclosing any sensitive Personal Information through the Services or by any other means. Sensitive Personal Information includes, without limitation, Social Security numbers, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, ideological beliefs, health and medical information, biometric or genetic data, criminal history, and information relating to administrative or criminal proceedings or sanctions.
Minor's Privacy
36.      The Club Hotels Chain does not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under the age of 18, except as provided in Section 37 below.
37.      The Club Hotels Chain may collect Personal Information from individuals under the age of 18 as part of the guest registration process, solely with the prior verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, and as permitted by applicable law.
Updates to This Privacy Policy
38.      The Club Hotels Chain reserves the right to periodically modify this Privacy Policy, at its sole discretion, without prior notice. It is the responsibility of users to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
39.      Like many websites, Club Hotels uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on its Websites and web pages to enhance the user experience. Cookies do not, in and of themselves, provide Club Hotels with personally identifiable information unless the user has elected to provide such information (e.g., by registering for the Services). However, in the event that you provide personally identifiable information on the Website, that information may be linked to data stored in a cookie.
40.      A cookie is a small text file placed on your computer or mobile device by a website. Cookies allow your device to remember certain actions or preferences from a previous visit, such as login status or browsing activity.
41.       The Club Hotels Chain uses cookies to understand how the Website is used, to improve its content and offerings, to personalize the user experience, to present relevant products and services, and to enable interest-based advertising.
42.       Cookie Opt-Out
Your browser may allow you to manage cookie preferences. Certain browsers may provide settings that prevent the collection of cookies. Should you not consent to the use of cookies, you should disable cookies in accordance with your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain Website features.

43.      The Club Hotels Chain uses the following categories of cookies:
43.1      Session Cookies — temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. We use session cookies to support Website functionality and to understand browsing behavior, including pages visited, links used, and time spent on each page.
43.2     Strictly Necessary Cookies — cookies that are essential to the operation of the Website, such as those that enable i-club members to log in and access membership benefits.
43.3     Functional Cookies — cookies used to remember your preferences (e.g., preferred currency for hotel pricing) and to store data for easier retrieval on future visits. Certain functional cookies are required to display maps or video content on the Website.
43.4     Persistent Cookies — persistent cookies are not deleted when you close your browser. Instead, they remain stored on your device for a defined period or until they are deleted. On each visit to the Website, the server that placed the cookie will recognize the persistent cookie stored on your device. The Club Hotels Chain uses persistent cookies to store your preferences so they will be available on future visits. For example, if you have previously logged in to i-club, these cookies may allow the Website to skip the login step on your next visit.
43.5     Targeting and Advertising Cookies —  cookies used to collect information to help the Club Hotels Chain improve its products and services and to present targeted advertisements that may be relevant to users. 43.6     Analytics Cookies — these cookies collect information about how the Website is used and help the Club Hotels Chain improve the operation of the Website. 44.       Third-Party Cookies
44.1      Google Analytics Cookies — We use Google Analytics cookies to collect information about how users use the Website. The Club Hotels Chain uses this information to generate reports and improve the Website. These cookies collect information in anonymous form, including, for example, the number of visitors, where users arrived from, and which buttons users clicked.
